TEHRAN (Tasnim) Iran national football team No. 7 jersey was presented to FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
- Sports news -Monday night, Iran suffered a late 1-0 loss against Uzbekistan in the final match of the 2025 CAFA Nations Cup.
Infantino visited Irans locker room after the match at the Olympic City Stadium in Tashkent.
During the visit, Infantino assured the team members that FIFA will do its utmost to resolve visa-related issues and facilitate the teams participation in upcoming tournaments, including the 2026 World Cup.
The FIFA president said there will be no serious problem for the Iranian national teams trip to the United States.
In recent months, many Iranian athletes have been denied visas to participate in international competitions, mainly in the US and European countries.
