Trump says not clear if Iran has laid mines in Strait of Hormuz

WASHINGTON, March 16 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday it remains unclear if Iran has started laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, though the U.S. forces have sunk more than 100 Iranian naval vessels including more than 30 mine-laying ships.

"We don't know that they have dropped anything," Trump said at a press conference.
