Foreign Relations to Strengthen Iran against Pressures: President

TEHRAN (Tasnim) Closer cooperation with foreign countries will improve Irans resilience and strengthen it against pressures and shocks, President Masoud Pezeshkian stated.

In a Tuesday meeting with Irans new ambassadors to China, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Cuba, and Uruguay,Pezeshkian said the Iranian envoys are key players in enhancing relations and interaction with the global community.

Highlighting the growing ties between Iran and the countries to which the new ambassadors have been assigned, the president noted that China and Iran possess significant potential for collaboration.

He also highlighted the positive developments in Iran's relationship with the Republic of Azerbaijan following his recent visit to Baku.

Pezeshkian emphasized that strengthening ties with African and Latin American countries has been a focal point in Irans foreign policy, which should be pursued based on mutual capacities and interests.

The president also urged the six new ambassadors to provide a thorough assessment of opportunities for expanding relations and increasingcooperation.

The presidentcalled on the diplomats to prioritize identifying opportunities for the private companies in the countries of their mission.
