TEHRAN (Tasnim) The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces highlighted the countrys efforts to ensure sustainable security across the region, warning that any threat will draw Irans proportional response.
- Politics news -During a visit to military bases in the southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan, Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri hailed the Iranian armed forces for achieving the technical know-how to manufacture advanced systems that determine success in reality.
All efforts should be focused on ensuring deterrence, effectual defense, sustainable security, stability and calm in the region, the general stated.
He also praised the Iranian Army for its success in developing a broad range of micro aerial vehicles, warning the enemies that any threat will be responded at the proportional level.
In remarks in March, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned the US and its agents that any wrong military action will draw Irans firm and definite response.
