RIYADH -- Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Monday denied reports of a meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud and Israeli officials during a visit by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
"I have seen press reports about a purported meeting between HRH the Crown Prince and Israeli officials during the recent visit by @SecPompeo. No such meeting occurred. The only officials present were American and Saudi," the Saudi foreign minister said in a tweet in his official account. (Saudi-Israel)

JERUSALEM -- Israel's leading airline El Al announced on Monday that it will launch a direct passenger flight route to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

DUBAI -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has allowed expatriate investors to have 100 percent ownership of their own companies without the need for an Emirati sponsor, the official WAM news agency reported on Monday.
According to a decree by President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, companies that want to open branches in the UAE can also do so without a local sponsor, to improve UAE's position regionally and globally as an attractive destination for investments and projects. (UAE-Businesses-Sponsor)

TEHRAN -- Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education announced on Monday a complaint to be lodged at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over the "effects of the U.S. embargoes on the Iranians' health."
"The embargoes have harmed the health of the people in various dimensions, and this issue is being pursued through the vice president for legal affairs," Vice Minister Taher Mouhebati said in a virtual press conference, as quoted by official news agency IRNA. (Iran-US)
